Tottenham have offloaded a lot of deadwood

Coming into the transfer window, Spurs had their work cut out in trying to offload a number of players as the club’s wage bill and squad was extremely bloated.

The Lilywhites have successfully managed to move on numerous players who were surplus to requirements, with a mass exodus taking place at Hotspur Way.

Eric Dier, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon, Japhet Tanganga, Joe Rodon, Tanguy Ndombele, Troy Parrott, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Bryan Gil, Emerson Royal and Oliver Skipp have all departed the club over the past couple of months.

Lo Celso and Reguilon could leave Spurs late

On Tuesday, Solomon became the latest player to leave Spurs, with the Israeli international sealing a season-long loan move to Leeds United.

Sessions has now taken to social media to reveal that Tottenham will now focus their efforts on offloading Lo Celso and Reguilon before Friday’s deadline.

The journalist pointed out that the Argentine and the Spaniard could even make their exits after Tuesday as the Saudi, Portuguese, Greek and Turkish transfer windows will remain open.

By the sounds of it, the Reguilon and Lo Celso exits will be the only movement from a Spurs perspective over the next 48 hours, with another new signing now looking unlikely.
