AC Milan Finalise Deal With Tottenham For Emerson Royal

AC Milan finally have a deal in place with Tottenham Hotspur for their proposed move for Emerson Royal this summer, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

 

The Serie A giants have been negotiating with Tottenham for several weeks and at some point, were close to walking away from the talks.

 

The two clubs made slow progress in the negotiations with Tottenham looking to extract the best possible price for the player’s sale.

 

 

The talks entered a decisive phase this week and even the final details of the deal took time to get agreed upon.

 

It has been claimed that a final deal is now in place between the two clubs for the Brazilian’s transfer.

 

 

AC Milan have agreed to pay a fee in excess of €15m for the signature of Royal from the north London club.

 

The defender gave his consent to the move several weeks ago and an agreement over a contract is in place between the player and AC Milan.

 

 

His travel to Italy is being planned as Royal edges close to exiting Tottenham and joining AC Milan.
