Champions League Club Eye Loan Raid On Aston Villa

Champions League club Galatasaray are interested in signing Lucas Digne on loan from Aston Villa during the ongoing summer transfer window.

 

Villa have already signed Ian Maatsen from Chelsea this summer and have been open to offers for Digne.

 

The Frenchman made 46 appearances in all competitions last season but Unai Emery has been keen to change his left-back in the upcoming campaign.

 

 

Aston Villa would be keen to move him on before the end of the transfer window and the Frenchman could be moving to Turkey this summer.

 

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Turkish giants Galatasaray have their eyes on Digne in the final month of the window.

 

 

They are in the market for a left-back and the Aston Villa star has emerged as a viable target for the club.

 

Galatasaray would be keen to explore a deal to sign the Frenchman on loan in the ongoing transfer window.

 

 

Digne has two years left on his contract with Villa and is considering his options at the moment.

 

While Aston Villa are in the Champions League, moving to Galatasaray would keep him in that competition, albeit the Turkish giants have a playoff round to navigate before the league stage.
