Report: Club are considering making a £60m offer for Tottenham star

Although Richarlison boasted an excellent goals-to-games ratio last season, the striker spent much of the campaign on the treatment table.

Many Spurs fans feel that he is one player the Lilywhites could look to upgrade on and it has now emerged that the North London club are pushing ahead with a move for Dominic Solanke.

GiveMeSport claim that in order to fund a move for the Bournemouth star, Tottenham could decide to cash in on Richarlison over the coming days or weeks.

Saudi Arabian club could pay £60m for Richarlison

It is alleged that Richarlison is of interest in Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli, who are looking to add a number nine to their squad.

In fact, the publication asserts that Al-Ahli are now considering making a £60m offer for the Brazil international, which would match the fee that Spurs paid to sign him from Everton two years ago.

I suspect Postecoglou’s preference would be to bring in a striker like Solanke to compete with Richarlison rather than to replace the 27-year-old.

However, if a £60m offer does come Tottenham’s way, the North London club would likely be seriously tempted to accept it.
