Match Preview: Falkirk vs Queen’s Park

Queen’s Park kick-off their 2024/25 Championship Season at the home of last season’s undefeated League 1 winners Falkirk on Friday night.

The game at The Falkirk Stadium, which brings the curtain up on Scottish League football, is being shown live on the BBC Scotland channel and the Queen’s Park Media Team met with Callum Davidson and Calum Ferrie to preview it.

The season so far
Both Falkirk and Queen’s Park booked their places in the Premier Sports Cup knock-out stages after securing nine points in the Group stage.

The Bairns, however topped their group, and booked a tie against Heart of Midlothian, after wins over Dundee United, Buckie Thistle and Stenhousemuir with The Spiders losing out to Hibs on goal difference.

Falkirk scored 11 times in their four group games and lost two with Queen’s Park finding the net 16 times in their games against the Easter Road side as well as in their wins over Peterhead, Elgin and Kelty Hearts.
