Celtic Yet To Return With Improved Bid For Attacking Target

0 1

Celtic are yet to make an improved bid for forward Adam Idah, who Norwich City have in their plans for next season, according to Football Scotland.

The 23-year-old was on loan at Celtic during the second half of last season and showed promise, finishing with eleven goal contributions in 19 appearances.

Bhoys’ manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on having him back again this season and Celtic have been trying to get a deal over the line.

Celtic tabled a bid of £4m plus add-ons for Idah but Norwich turned down that offer, asking for more.

While the interest in Idah persists, Celtic are yet to make an improvement on their initial bid.

New Norwich manager Johannes Hoff Thorup is still assessing the squad he has inherited.

Thorup is thought to have Idah in his mind for next season, but the transfer window still has over a month to go.

It now remains to be seen whether Celtic are able to make an improved bid for the player or turn their attention elsewhere.
