ELLIOTT RETURNS TO SCOTLAND

Cameron Elliott has left the club to return home to Scotland and rejoin East Kilbride.

After signing in January 2023, the 25-year-old made 48 appearances for the Lilywhites, scoring one goal, a fantastic strike in a 2-1 victory over Cork City at Oriel Park last May.

“I knew for a few weeks now that Cami was looking to go home,” said Lilywhites manager Jon Daly. 

“What people probably don’t see is the off-the-field stuff and he was struggling a bit. He needed to get home for personal reasons so I think it was important to try and facilitate that for him.

“He’s a great lad who gave 100 per cent every time he played. He probably would have liked to have scored more goals but I think every time he went on the pitch, he gave everything and I think that was appreciated by myself, the players and the fans as well. You could see that from the reaction online.

“He had a successful time at East Kilbride previously and I have no doubt he’ll do that again.”
