Think you’re missing some of my points and I’m missing some of yours so let’s just call this a draw before the mods get the banning stick out!1. The welder can refuse the contract and I can say he’s a snake when my share price drops because of it. Get over it
2. It’s a legal contract not a handshake agreement. If we’re just relying solely on honour then why have a contract at all. It really has nothing to do with ‘honour’ in the traditional sense and just means you do what is written in the contract or we sue you. Players don’t break contract terms for financial reasons not because they’re damn decent fellows.
3. In terms of DCL I only said it was a snakey thing to do. As a fan it’s my prerogative to be completely irrational when a player leaves the club and costs us money. I’m very rational about most things Everton related but I reserve the right to fly off the handle occasionally on a forum
