West Ham ‘Considered The Frontrunners’ In Chase For 27-year-old

0 5

West Ham United are ‘considered the frontrunners’ to sign Wolves defender Max Kilman this summer, according to the Sun.

The Hammers have just brought in former Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui to replace the departing David Moyes.

Strengthening their defensive options is a priority for West Ham in the approaching window with the futures of Nayef Aguerd and Kurt Zouma uncertain, while Angelo Ogbonna is tipped to go.

Wolves’ Kilman, 27, is a player that West Ham rate and it is suggested that they are ‘considered the frontrunners’ to secure him.

Further clubs are expected to be interested in Kilman and West Ham will have to see them off to land the defender.

Wolves are expected to ask for a big price for Kilman, with the Molinuex side looking for close to £45m.

Gary O’Neil’s side have no need to sell to meet PSR rules, but if they do cash in on Kilman it would give them extra money to spend in the summer transfer window.

West Ham conceded a huge 74 goals in the Premier League this season, a total worse than every other side that did not finish in the bottom three.
