Redknapp expects Spurs and Arsenal to play out high-scoring thriller
Harry Redknapp expects a fantastic game of football between the two North London sides at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday and predicted that the game would end in a high-scoring draw.
The eyes of the footballing world will turn to North London on Sunday as the Gunners make the short trip to take on their fierce rivals in their own den.
The atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is expected to be as loud and boisterous as it has ever been, with Spurs fans understandably desperate to see their side hand Arsenal’s title hopes a defining blow.
Mikel Arteta’s men will know that they would need three points to keep pace with Manchester City and they will have to bring their A-game as they do not boast of a particularly impressive record at Spurs’ home ground.
Ange Postecoglou has insisted that his players are not motivated by the prospect of sabotaging Arsenal’s title hopes and are more focused on demonstrating that they can go toe-to-toe with one of the best sides in the division (Football.London).

Redknapp believes that the Gunners will encounter a Tottenham side who are desperate to spoil their party and backed the home side to hold their rivals to a draw.
The former Spurs manager told BetVictor: “Here we go, what a game this should be! Tottenham have been involved in so many thrillers this season and this should be no different. Spurs have some massive fixtures to end the season, none bigger than this. Can they derail Arsenal’s title charge?
“As bad as Chelsea were during the week, I thought Arsenal were exceptional at times. Some of the passes and moves they had were just a joy to watch. This looks like the biggest test for them on paper. Win this, and that could be them on the verge.
“We saw during the week that rivals love ending title dreams. There will be Spurs fans at this game who remember when Arsenal won the league at White Hart Lane, they’ll be so up for this one. I think Spurs have it in them to get a something here. 2-2!”
When asked to name a player to watch out for, Redknapp said: “Martin Odegaard was absolutely brilliant during the week, a joy to watch with the ball at his feet. There’s not many better in the country than this fella when he’s in that mood.”

Arsenal will look to play on the counter-attack and exploit the spaces that Tottenham leave when they commit bodies forward. We need to take our chances if we are to get a result from this game as they will punish us if we are as wasteful in front of goal as we have been over recent months.
