Dev Squad Draw In Dundee

The Hibs Dev Squad’s cinch Reserve League campaign concluded with a 0-0 draw at North End Park on Tuesday afternoon.

The result meant we finished third in the cinch Reserve League on 14 points – which included four wins, two draws and two defeats.

Guillaume Beuzelin named a young side, which included 10 youngsters from the under-18s Academy.

In a game that lacked quality on a very challenging pitch in Dundee, neither side were able to stamp their authority in the opening 45 minutes. Despite dominating large spells of passion, the young Hibees struggled to create any clear-cut chances in what a tough battle for both sides from start to finish.

In the second period, the hosts had an appeal for a penalty waved away by the referee before Josh Landers had an opportunity to snatch it at the death.The striker got his head on a cross into the box but his effort was just over the bar.

In the end, the Hibees had to settle for a point as we brought our cinch Reserve League campaign to a close.
