FURIOUS Manchester United fans called for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be sacked as #OleOut trended after their 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa at Old Trafford.

The loss was United’s third in four games and Reds supporters wasted no time in launching an online campaign to get the Norwegian out.

Bruno Fernandes missed a stoppage time penalty which would have rescued a point against Villa.

But it was another iffy performance from the Red Devils long before Kortney Hause’s winner in the 89th minute.

In less than a fortnight United have lost their opening game in the Champions League to Young Boys and gone out the Carabao Cup at home to West Ham.

And Saturday’s defeat to Dean Smith’s men was the icing on the cake for many.

Just moments after the final whistle, #OleOut was trending on Twitter with thousands of disgruntled Reds joining the pile on.

Isaac wrote: “Man Utd losses against Young Boys, West Ham, Aston Villa and they haven’t faced any big teams yet #OleOut.”

Max added: “Thank you for the memories Ole. It’s time to say goodbye.

“Enough is enough. #OleOut.”
