Video: Andy Cole praises ex-Spur who could have played for Manchester United
Andy Cole has claimed that Ledley King could have played for Manchester United if he had been able to avoid his injury issues.
The central defender announced his retirement in 2012 having suffered from chronic knee problems in the years leading up to his decision which limited his game and training time.
King, who had captained Tottenham since 2005 admitted that the decision to quit was tough, and after spending his entire career at the club, he could not consider playing elsewhere (Telegraph).
Cole, who made 274 appearances for United praised the ability of the England international describing him as one of the best.
