A Manchester United target has apparently found an agreement with the club, while a struggling Chelsea star could be offered an escape route by a La Liga giant – according to Tuesday’s Euro transfer gossip.
CALHANOGLU CHOOSES MAN UTD
Hakan Calhanoglu has apparently found a pre-contract agreement to join Manchester United when his contract with Milan expires this summer.
Calhanoglu has been an important player for Milan over the last few years, but his time in Italy may be coming to an end.
So far, there has been little progress over a renewal. Therefore, he could be walking away from San Siro as a free agent in the summer.
The chance to sign a creative player of his quality for free will be appealing for a number of clubs. Man Utd are one of his main suitors and a recent report outlined how they will be able to watch him and one of his teammates close up when they face Milan in the Europa League.
Now, according to Todofichajes, Calhanoglu has chosen Man Utd as his next club.
There is a belief at Milan that the Turkey international will end up in the Premier League. In fact, it is claimed he already has a pre-contract agreement with United.
The report does not specify any details of Calhanoglu’s contract, such as wages or how long it will last. However, it seems United are making positive steps forward in their pursuit of the attacking midfielder.
The 27-year-old would add more creativity at Old Trafford. He can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.
He has two goals and eight assists to his name so far this season.
