‘Perfect performance’ – Some Spurs react to dominant 4-0 win against Ludogorets
Some Spurs fans were delighted with how easily their second-string team brushed Ludogorets aside 4-0 yesterday evening, giving themselves a great chance of qualifying for the knockout stages in the Europa League.
Jose Mourinho made ten changes to the side that overcame Manchester City 2-0 on Saturday, with Tanguy Ndombele the only player who kept his place in the starting eleven.
Tottenham completely dominated the match right from kick-off, with Ludogorets struggling to get into the Spurs half for the majority of the encounter.
The home side raced into a 2-0 lead owing to two strikes by Carlos Vinicius, who will be delighted to get off the mark in a Spurs shirt.
Harry Winks got the third as he lobbed the goalkeeper from over 50 yards out, although the midfielder later admitted that he did not mean to go for goal.
Lucas Moura put the icing on the cake as he grabbed Tottenham’s fourth after being set up by Vinicius.
Some Tottenham fans thought it was a perfect performance from the side ahead of an all-important London derby against Chelsea this weekend.
What a performance. 24 shots against 0 from the opposition. Great minutes from the youngsters and so happy for Vinicius to get his goals. Dele, Lucas, Winks, Tanganga all great. Tanguy was magnificent in midfield MOTM for me pic.twitter.com/vB07vAlZuW

Really happy with tonight.
Big win, couples of goals from Vinicius, good performance from Dele, and it honestly made my night seeing some of the academy lads come on.
Ended the night with 5 academy boys on the pitch.
Such a positive showing going into Sunday.
COYS.

Perfect performance all round tonight. Great to see the young boys get a run out. Goals for Vinicius and Dele looking sharp. Hard to find any negatives with Spurs at the moment. #COYS #THFC

I think we've had pre season games far more competitive than tonight's game.
Fair play to Jose for giving the young boys their debut though!

I know it’s only Ludogorets and they have had covid issues but this is our second string completely dominant. Great run out for some of players. Dele finally looking good. Vinicius banging them in.
