Thursday, Mar. 3
Evening session - Andrea Adam put together another All-American performance, finishing as the National runner-up in the women's 1-meter diving competition. She finished with a score of 214.65 in the finals. Another Bee earned All-American honors Thursday as Leyre Antonanzas took eighth in the 200-yard individual medley. Her finals time was 2:07.47. Juan Gomez earned a 12th-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:38.92.

St. Ambrose also scored in both relays in the session. Brett Jones, Zac Robinson, Ryan Warrick and Caleb Heiar took seventh in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:24.19. Ryan Joehl, Gabe Carlson, Mikhi Hassim and Rais Hassim were ninth in the 400-yard medley relay in 3:27.38. The women's 400 medley relay team of Antonanzas, Molly Duehr, Bethany Anderson and Lauren Williams finished 13th in 4:02.07. Anderson, Rylie Steinkamp, Amber Warak and Marin Powell took 20th in the women's 200 free relay (1:43.77).

The men currently sit in seventh place with 71 points while the women are 11th with 48th points.

Morning session - Andrea Adam qualified for the finals in the 1-meter dive after earning the top qualifying score in prelims with a 217.45. She will look to win her seventh national title Thursday evening. Leyre Antonanzas qualified for the A finals in the 200-yard individual medley, qualifying seventh with a time of 2:09.32. The St. Ambrose men had two qualify for B finals after narrowly missing top-eight qualifying times. Juan Gomez was ninth in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 4:37.80 and Zac Robinson took ninth in the 50-yard freestyle in 21.15 seconds. Antonanzas, Gomez and Robinson will compete in the finals Thursday night. SAU will also swim in the finals of the men's and women's 200-yard freestyle relay and the 400-yard medley relay.

Wednesday, Mar. 2
St. Ambrose got off to a solid start in the championship's opening event, the 800-yard freestyle relay. The men's team of Juan Gomez, Leo Edwards, Ryan Joehl and Grant Nelson finished seventh overall with a time of 6:55.32. That earned 24 team points for the Bees. The SAU women picked up 12 points as Lauren Williams, Leyre Antonanzas, Molly Duehr and Emily Hartman took 11th place in 7:58.49.

The first full day of competition takes place Thursday and will feature the Bees in several prelim rounds. Williams, Edwards, Nelson and Gomez will compete in the 500-yard freestyle. In the 200-yard individual medley, Antonanzas, Rais Hassim and Mikhi Hassim will look to qualify for the finals. And seven Bees - Duehr, Petter Kolaas, Caleb Heiar, Ryan Warrick, Victor Del Rio Foces, Zac Robinson and Brett Jones will all compete in the prelims. Andrea Adam will also look to add to her collection of awards as the 6-time National Champion enters the pool for the first time in the 1-meter diving competition.
