Diving Into Color: Tutima Glashütte Refreshes the M2 Seven Seas S with a Stunning Red Dial

01538

The so-called degradé dials with a gradient from light to dark are a particular type of colored dials that has become increasingly popular in recent years. For the most part, the spectrum ranges from blue to green to earthy hues. Tutima Glashütte recently added a bright red degradé dial to its M2 Seven Seas S collection. The intense color lends the tool watch that is designed to be a reliable companion under water and on dry land a stunning twist. It goes without saying that the watch face provides perfect readability in the dark and under water, thanks to Superluminova coating on the indices, hands and marking point on the bezel.

The stainless-steel case which has a diameter of 44mm and a height of 13mm is water resistant to 500 meters and equipped with a unidirectional bezel and a screw-in crown. It houses the German brand’s caliber 330 that sports a rotor with a gold seal and is based on Sellita SW200.

The automatic movement ticks behind a sapphire pane that is 3mm thick to provide strong protection. There are two strap options, a rubber-/ leather combination and a metal bracelet, retailing for $1,835 and $2,030, respectively when converted to USD.
