Club champs results and annual awards

Well done everyone who raced in the club championships today, there were fantastic performances by all of the riders who competed in some very tough races.

A massive thankyou to Paul Goodwill who has been organising our club champs for more years than I can remember, to Stephen Hutchins for running the timing chip system which worked a treat, and of course to all of our many volunteers who made things run so smoothly.

Below are the final positions and points for each age group.

The winners in each category will receive an engraved shield to keep for the year ahead. These will be presented at the AGM and Awards on Saturday 16th November, 3pm at Knoyle Hall so please save the date. This is always a fun event featuring games, raffle, loads of club awards, guest award presenters and a club kit shop (with a final chance to get a 50% discount on all remaining stock).

Last years winners, please return your shields and framed jerseys to the sign-on hut on Saturday if you haven’t already. We need to get the shields and trophies off to the engravers to get the new names added, so time is of the essence.

Lastly, if you tried to buy club kit today but your size has run out, don’t worry. We are running down our stock before moving to a new kit ordering model in the spring with a new supplier. More info on that in the new year.
