SORBA Tri-Cities Annual Meeting and Board Elections
Please join us for the SORBA Tri-Cities Annual Meeting where we will be electing new board members and officers positions for the new service year. The meeting will occur on January 13, 2020, 7 PM at Texas Roadhouse. Any current member with SORBA Tri-Cities is eligible to vote and nominate for any open board position. Voting occurs at the meeting in-person or can occur by written proxy to any active current member of your choice if you aren’t able to attend the meeting yourself. If you are not a current member or your membership has lapsed you will need to renew or join by midnight on January 12, 2020. All non-members are encouraged to attend the meeting as well. This meeting is open to all.
The board is comprised of eleven overall board positions. Six of which are officer positions for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Events Coordinator, and Trails Coordinator. Board members serve a one year term unless they are elected to an officer position which is a two-year term. The open officer positions for 2020 through the end of 2021 are Vice President, Treasurer, Events Coordinator, and Trails Coordinator. Once the new board has been elected the board will vote to fill any open office positions immediately at this meeting.
