Wheels with Mavic hubs dating and evaluation

I am interested about this set of Nashbar rims with Mavic hubs. 700C size.

Are they early 80's ? As they were on an early bike.

I read somewhere that the Mavic hubs are desirable. Are these or not?

I want to replace the wheels on the bike and put the Mavic whels on a cheaper one. But I don't...
