Chess.com Speed Chess Championship 2018 - Games and Results
The Chess.com Speed Chess Championship takes place July 24th to December 2nd 2018. 16 players in a knockout online blitz tournament. 90 minutes of 5/1 blitz, 60 minutes of 3/1 blitz, and 30 minutes of 1/1 bullet chess. Players: Fabiano Caruana, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Hikaru Nakamura, Wesley So, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Levon Aronian, Wei Yi, Anish Giri, Alexander Grischuk, Sergey Karjakin, Hou Yifan, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Vidit Gujrath were all invited. There was an invitational qualifier on June 26th-27th where Leinier Dominguez Perez defeated Jon Ludvig Hammer in the final (Georg Meier and Eric Hansen lost to these in the semi-finals).

Quarter Finals Duda 14-13 Grischuk, Aronian 18-11 Giri, So 16.5-10.5 Vidit, Nakamura 21.5-13.5 MVL.
Semi Finals and Finals 3 days running 30th Nov to 2nd December Duda-So, Aronian-Nakamura.
