[WHAC] 2022 LEARFIELD Directors Cup Final Standings
CLEVELAND – (NACDA Release) - Three Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) members finished in the top 50 of the 2021-22 LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings. Indiana Tech, Aquinas, and Cornerstone all ended up in the top tier while Madonna and UNOH finished in the next 50 spots. Indiana Wesleyan finished first with 890.00 overall points.
Indiana Tech took home a pair of national championships (men's bowling and women's indoor track and field), finishing fourth
overall with 784.00 total points. The Warriors scored in 13 total sports, having to omit one score (women's tennis), after scoring in
10 sports outside of the countable sports.
Overall, 13 sports are counted in the final NAIA standings, four of which must be men's basketball, men's soccer, women's basketball and women's volleyball. The next highest (9 max.) sports scored for each institution, regardless of gender, are used in the standings.
The LEARFIELD IMG College Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NAIA Championships.
