KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Bryan College men's basketball split with Reinhardt University (Ga.) in regular-season play, which added even more anticipation for Thursday's showdown between the two in the opening round of the Appalachian Athletic Conference men's basketball tournament in Kingsport, Tenn. played at the MeadowView Marriott Conference Resort & Convention Center. No. 4 seed Bryan had the help of the team's lone All-Conference First Team and All-Defensive Team selection in EJ Bush (SO/Oak Ridge, Tenn.), in addition to All-Freshman Team honoree Brandon Thomas (FR/Murfreesboro, Tenn.) with the pair of Lions battling their way for the game's only double-doubles. Bush notched his team-leading 10th double-double of the season by corralling a game-high 13 rebounds and scoring 16 points. 10 double-doubles tie Bush for the fourth most accomplished in the AAC this year. Thomas completed double-double number three on the year by dropping 17 points and snagging 10 boards.
