Pee Wee Reese Chapter meeting/ballgame (Louisville, KY)
For the eighth year, the kind folks at the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory have offered to host the Pee Wee Reese SABR Chapter in their corporate suite at Louisville Slugger Field for a Louisville Bats game. The event will take place on Saturday, July 22 at 6:35 p.m. when the Bats play the Buffalo Bisons, the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.
Because the suite only holds 22 persons, this event must be limited to SABR members, prospective members, and one guest each.
As in the past, the Pee Wee Reese Chapter will supply a nice spread of food for the evening; however, instead of dinner fare, the Chapter will provide only snacks and desserts: popcorn, peanuts, kettle chips and dip, chips and salsa and cookies.
In addition, faithful SABR member Dr. Jack Sullivan will again be providing a written mini-Trivia contest (10 questions) with some non-cash prizes. Plus, you can always count on some interesting guests to drop by to say hello.
Reservations for this event will be taken on a first come, first served basis. In the past, this very popular night has sold out, so please check your calendar and send me an RSVP reply at caohrothgerber@hotmail.com if you wish to attend. Please include the name of your guest, if applicable.
Many thanks to Anne Jewell, Andrea Davis and the staff at Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory for continuing to be such great partners and friend to our SABR Chapter.
