SOUTH FLORIDA SABR SUMMER CHAPTER MEETING

With baseball season now in full swing, it’s time to celebrate. And what better way to enjoy a day of baseball talk than to come out to the South Florida Chapter of SABR Summer bash. Our guest speaker will be Jack Herskowitz, author of Danger at the Ballpark. Jack is retired from the practice of law, but stays active as an adjunct professor at Miami-Dade College and serving as an Arbitrator and Mediator. He was all All-City shortstop in high school and went on to play college baseball at the University of Florida. He closely follows Major League Baseball and has always been a student of the game.

Also, we are looking for presenters for our upcoming meeting to share their favorite baseball topic, research project their working on, or area of interest. Presentations are to be 15 minutes in length, followed by 10 minutes to allow questions from the audience. If you are interested in serving as a presenter, please email me with your topic at sflasabr@hotmail.com.

As always, we encourage you to invite family and friends to participate. It is a great chance to share hardball talk with like-minded friends and expose guests to the game we all hold so dear.
