[Men's Lacrosse] Mallillin named first team all-KCAC, Bales selected to second team
KCAC all-conference men's lacrosse team
Louis Mallillin was named to the all-conference first team and Josh Bales was picked for the second team as the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) announced its men's lacrosse postseason awards today.
Mallillin, one of two goalies named to the first team, had a tremendous season for the Bees.
The sophomore from Bolingbrook, Ill., currently leads the NAIA with 206 total saves. His 14.71 saves per game are the second most in the nation. Mallillin also leads the KCAC with a .584 save percentage.
He had two games with at least 20 saves this season, the first two 20-save games in program history. Mallillin came up with a team-record 27 saves against Aquinas (Mich.) on March 31.
In his two-year St. Ambrose career, Mallillin has made 351 saves.
