Anzoategui to host IX Venezuelan Youth Women's Baseball Championship
Anzoátegui will host the IX Venezuelan Women's Baseball Youth National Championship from Thursday, April 30, to Monday, May 4. Teams representing nine States will participate.
The Rafael Maestro Coa Stadium in Barcelona will host Group A, which includes Caracas, Yaracuy, Aragua, Bolívar and the hosts Anzoátegui.
El Guamazo in Barcelona will host Group B action with Lara, La Guaira, Miranda and Carabobo.
The first and second-place finishers will advance to the semifinals, scheduled for Sunday, May 3.
Barcelona will host the medal round on Monday, May 4.
Eight of the nine participants will advance to Venezuela's XXII Youth National Games (Juegos Deportivos Nacionales) Women's Baseball tournament.
Venezuela's XXII Youth National Games are scheduled from June 6 to 17 in Caracas, Miranda and La Guaira. Baseball (Men's and Women's), Baseball5 and Softball (Men's and Women's) are among the 70 disciplines on the programme. The qualifiers started in March and will take place through May.
