Morning Briefing: Jorge Polanco Still Held Back by Achilles

Good morning, Mets fans!

Jorge Polanco‘s Achilles continues to be a problem, as it held him out of the lineup again on Friday. Manager Carlos Mendoza called it tendinitis, and he considers Polanco day-to-day. Polanco has not played first base since last Saturday and has not been in the lineup at all in two of the last four games. Mark Vientos, who has been swinging the bat well, will figure to see more playing time if Polanco needs to miss time.
