Opening Day Parade – March 14 ????

Hello BALL Families!

Opening Day is nearly here, and we’re kicking off the season with one of Little League’s most time-honored traditions — our Opening Day Parade on March 14.

Parade begins promptly at 9:00 AM

All players and coaches must arrive by 8:30 AM

Meet at the grassy median at Key Route & Solano Ave.

Players should wear their full uniform and comfortable shoes.

Parents and families are encouraged to line Solano Ave. to cheer on the teams and then join us at Krone Field at University Village for the Opening Ceremonies.

Please note:

• Only teams and coaches may march in the parade

• No one may join once the parade has started

This event is a cornerstone of our season and takes all of BALL to make it happen.

Each team must provide one volunteer to support one of the following roles: •Staging, •Barricades, •Welcome at the Village •Set up / Clean up, •Snack Shack

We need approximately 50 volunteers to make this event successful. Please sign up here.

We’re excited to once again be joined by ABGSL — and this year we welcome the Cal Band to the festivities.

After the Opening Ceremonies, games will begin. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a Sno Cone booth at UC Village — a sweet way to celebrate and support the league.
