The IV Women's Baseball Asia Cup will take place from 26 October to 2 November at the Guali Baseball Field in Hangzhou, China, with 10 teams competing for four spots in next year’s WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup Group Stage.

The 10 participating nations have been divided into two groups for the Opening Round.

  • Group A: No. 5 Chinese Taipei, No. 8 Hong Kong, China, No. 11 India, No. 17 Thailand, and No. 18 China.
  • Group B: World No. 1 and seven-time defending World Champions Japan, No. 10 Korea, No. 11 Indonesia, No. 16 Philippines, and No. 19 Sri Lanka.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Round, scheduled for 31 October and 1 November, with the medal games set for 2 November.

In the previous continental edition, held in 2023, Japan claimed the title with an 8–3 win over Chinese Taipei, while Korea secured the bronze medal with a 14–4 victory over Hong Kong, China.

The WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup will once again be played under the Two-Stage Format, with the Group Stage scheduled for 2026 and the Finals set for 2027. This will mark the second consecutive edition of the World Cup to be contested under this format.

No. 28 Great Britain have qualified from Europe, while No. 4 Venezuela, No. 6 Mexico, and No. 9 Cuba have advanced from the Americas. WBSC Americas will announce the qualification process for the fourth continental spot at a later date. Oceania will qualify one team, and the WBSC will award two Wild Cards to complete the field of 12 teams for the 2026 WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup.
