Morning Briefing: Blue Jays Take ALCS Game 3
Good morning, Mets fans!
After going to Toronto and taking full control of the ALCS, the Seattle Mariners were looking to take a commanding 3-0 series lead as they headed back to T-Mobile Park. However, the Blue Jays had other plans, bombarding the Mariners with 13 runs and putting the game out of reach early on. Toronto tagged George Kirby with five runs in the third inning and added seven runs in the next three innings, leaving no doubt in game 3. The Blue Jays will now look to tie up the series on Thursday with Max Scherzer on the mound, going up against Luis Castillo.
The NLCS heads to Los Angeles on Thursday night as the Brewers look to fight back after getting swept at home and now facing a 2-0 deficit.
