Eight national teams will battle for four spots in next year’s World Cup in Sincelejo, Colombia: World No. 2 Venezuela, No. 3 Argentina, No. 4 Canada, No. 5 USA, No. 9 Mexico, No. 10 Dominican Republic, No. 12 Guatemala, and No. 34 Peru.
The continental championship runs through 20 September, with the medal games closing the competition on the final day: the bronze medal game at 2 p.m., followed by the gold medal final at 5 p.m.
