Good news: It looks more and more like Mr. Gomez was wrong.

Good news: Logan Allen pitched 7 good innings.
I hope no bad news has developed yet between the time I’m scheduling this post, and the time it goes live. But with how this month has gone for the franchise, it wouldn’t be surprising. The Baseball Media Apparatus seems to think Steven Kwan is getting traded, but I don’t see how it makes any sense to trade him for a couple guys who have a 5% chance of ever being as good as him.
Bad news for the Twins: They lost 8-5 to Boston last night.
Bad news for the Twins: They placed Byron Buxton on the IL. He has played 85 games this season. If he plays 20 more at some point, he’ll reach 105 for the 2nd time in his 11-year career.
Bad news for the Mets: Juan Soto fouled a ball off his foot.
