David Stearns met with the media Monday to discuss his vision for the upcoming trade deadline.
Regarding the third base position, Stearns indicated that the expectation is that the split between Brett Baty, Mark Vientos and Ronny Mauricio will continue, and the Mets will rely on this trio for the remainder of the season.
