Game two of what would have been considered the battle of the Bay continues in West Sacramento as the San Francisco Giants face the Athletics at Sutter Health Park. The A’s trounced the Giants in game one last night 11-2, where the A’s bats started the fireworks for fans.

Tonight’s matchup would seem to be a battle of seasoned aces, but the season has not evolved the way Athletics starter Luis Severino had planned. Severino comes into today’s game with a 2-9 record and a 5.09 ERA in eighteen starts. He’s 0-7 in his ten home starts with a 6.79 ERA. He’ll face off against Logan Webb for the Giants. Webb is 7-6 with a 2.61 ERA in his eighteen 2025 starts. His 127 strikeouts rank fourth in MLB this season.
