Checking in on the latest news from Major League Baseball.
Good morning everyone! It’s a Wednesday and we’ve got some baseball news to get your day started.
In Mariners news...
- The Mariners have claimed outfielder Jacob Hurtubise off waivers from the Reds. Hurtubise was initially drafted by Seattle in the 39th round of the 2019 draft, but did not sign with the club.
- After a strong showing in the last month, Harry Ford finds himself back in the Baseball America top 100. Though it’s certainly odd they list him as an outfielder given he hasn’t played an inning there this year, and only 8 total games there in his career.
