You eight percenters were right! Andrew Vaughn was the next to go

Our latest Reacts survey asked you who was the next bat to be dealt away, after Matt Thaiss to Tampa Bay last month. Little did we know that before we hit publish, we’d have our answer!

Yes indeed, the outlier that was Andrew Vaughn — in the minors and not hitting particularly well — was in fact the next hitter traded, just this morning. Only 8% of respondents picked Vaughn — he certainly was not my vote!

But, if the question is now who is the next next White Sox hitter traded, there’s still not much more clarity, as Mike Tauchman, Luis Robert Jr. and Korey Lee essentially split the vote.

Nationally, we are forced to feature a Cubs photo, as Pete Crow-Armstrong was deemed the biggest surprise of the season. Whoopee.
