  • Bryce Harper (right wrist inflammation)
  • Status: 10-day injured list
  • Harper was placed on the injured list with right wrist inflammation on Saturday, June 7, retroactive to Friday, June 6.
  • Harper continues to receive treatment on his right wrist, Rob Thomson said on Tuesday, June 10. He is feeling better, but the Phillies have not provided an official timetable for his return. — Last updated on June 10 by Destiny Lugardo

  • Aaron Nola (right ankle sprain)
  • Status: 15-day IL
  • Aaron Nola is on the injured list for the first time since 2017 with a right ankle sprain. He suffered the injury while doing agility work in the outfield of Steinbrenner Field during the Rays’ series in Tampa. The Phillies were worried about Nola overcompensating for the injury, leading to a change in mechanics — and perhaps a more serious injury. Nola could use a reset. He has a 6.16 ERA in nine starts.
  • The ankle has healed, but Nola is now dealing with another issue. He is shut down from throwing for at least two weeks, Thomson said on June 10. An MRI revealed that Nola has a stress reaction in his right rib. Nola was originally shut down from throwing last week during the Phillies’ trip to Toronto with soreness in his right side. Nola was sick last week, and there was a thought that the side soreness stemmed from excessive coughing.
  • Once Nola returns, he’ll require multiple rehab starts in order to get stretched out as a starter, meaning he’ll likely be out until at least July, assuming there are no other setbacks. — Last updated on June 10 by Destiny Lugardo
