Columbus had eight hits but couldn't strong any together as both of the Clippers' runs came on a pair of solo home runs from Milan Tolentino and Yordys Valdes.
Tolentino finished 2-for-3 with a walk while Valdes and Petey Halpin had two hits apiece. C.J. Kayfus also reached base twice, singling and walking.
Starting pitcher Will Dion allowed two runs on four hits with six strikeouts and three walks in 4.0 innings.
