Welcome back for another week of Mariners Reacts! Last week, we had some questions for you about the state of the team. The Mariners have really seemed to turn it around recently, it wasn’t so long ago that we were asking if this team was even capable of winning 80 games this year and it seems like our complaints have not fallen on deaf ears. I believe we have manifested this outcome, so if you complained about the Mariners' offense this year, give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done; we could not have gotten here without you.
Now on to the topic, last week we had to hear from you about the production we have been getting out of Dylan Moore. Since Victor Robles went down, Moore has been dutifully filling in at the leadoff spot. I’m no Dylan Moore fan, so I expected it to go terribly, but unexpectedly, it has been quite productive. In 23 at-bats this year from the leadoff spot, Moore is slashing .286/.304/.714 with three home runs and six RBIs, which is not bad work. But even with that solid rate of success, it seems Mariners fans are eager for Victor Robles to be back in action:

Speaking of players who have been getting hot lately, Rowdy Tellez! He’s also been hitting pretty well to ; ^). Rowdy Tellez has been hot recently and seems like he may finally be putting together a nice season for the Mariners. In the last 15 games Tellez has 4 homeruns and 11 RBIs, hopefully this is the start of a hot run for Tellez. However, most of you seemed to think that that was not the case:

This week, Cal Raleigh has become the first player in the major leagues to hit 10 home runs, Having already passed Mike Zunino for most home runs by a Mariners catcher, and being on pace for 58 home runs, I think we need to ask ourselves if Cal has the potential to break the record set by Salvador Perez for most home runs by at catcher in a single season. Let us know what you think through the survey and comments below!
