USA Softball announced today the 15-player women's national team roster and three alternates that will represent USA at The World Games 2025, taking place from August 13-17 in Chengdu, China. Tokyo 2020 silver medallists Ally Carda, Rachel Garcia, Dejah Mulipola and Bubba Nickles will lead the Eagles, aiming to return to the top on the world stage.

Leading USA in China will be recently announced head coach Patty Gasso, who is gearing up for her first season with the Red, White, and Blue.

"This is such a tremendous honour for myself, our coaching staff and the exceptional athletes who have been selected to represent USA at the World Games,” Gasso said. “Determining the team is always a tough process, but we are blessed to have a nice mix of veterans and new faces on the roster. These 15 athletes bring power, speed and versatility to the table and I’m very excited to continue working with them as we strive to win gold at The World Games.”

The World Games 2025 roster includes 13 returnees from the 2024 season, including 12 athletes from the WBSC World Cup Finals where USA finished second.

Skylar Wallace will make her WNT debut after spending the 2024 season with the U.S. Women’s Elite Team, while Jayda Coleman joins the roster following her participation in the WBSC U-19 Women’s World Cup 2019. Of the 15 members, six athletes will return to The World Games stage after helping USA win gold at the 2022 edition (Carda, Megan Faraimo, Hannah Flippen, Janae Jefferson, Dejah Mulipola and Bubba Nickles).
