Game Thread: White Sox at Twins
The South Siders continue their road trip with a stop in Minnesota
The White Sox look to bounce back after a series loss in Boston as they head to Minnesota to face a division rival. The Twins (7-15) sit just above the last-place White Sox (5-17) in the American League Central. Neither team has seen any success and remain the bottom dwellers of the already disappointing division.
The White Sox have Davis Martin starting tonight. Martin has been roughed up a little, owning a 4.84 ERA in 22 1⁄3 innings. Nick Maton is back in the leadoff spot and was successful as a leadoff hitter in Monday morning’s game in Boston.

The Twins are putting Bailey Ober out to pitch tonight. Ober has had a rough start with an elevated ERA of 6.16 over 19 innings. He has given up 13 earned runs this season, but won’t give up many walks.
