Game Thread: White Sox at Giants

You can’t watch today’s game, but that might be a good thing

With just under three weeks until Opening Day, the South Siders are on the road this afternoon to check out the Giants.

Jonathan Cannon, who will likely earn a spot in the starting rotation, gets the start today. This is only his second appearance of the spring. His first time out wasn’t great, so here’s hoping for an improvement on the two earned runs allowed on four hits over two frames from last week.

Outside of Luis Robert Jr., this lineup is as close as we’ll get to what we’ll see during the season. However, who knows if Robert will even leave camp with Chicago?

There will be more in the coming days as the team whittles down to 40 from 66.

The South Siders will see Justin Verlander today. This lineup also reflects what we will likely see from the San Francisco Giants this season.
