Kruno Karin re-elected WBSC Europe President
World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Europe President Kruno Karin (CRO) was re-elected president of the organisation, winning 38-26 against Secretary General of the Lithuanian Baseball Federation Remigijus Kuodis, during the 2025 WBSC Europe Congress in The Westin Hotel in Zagreb, Croatia on Saturday.
Croatian Karin, 63, was first elected WBSC Europe President in 2022 in Slovenia having previously held the position of Secretary General of WBSC Europe since 2017 and the European Baseball Confederation since 2012.
“I’m proud to have led this organisation for the past three years and I hope to be able to do the same for next four years,” Karin said in his candidature speech. “One of the goals of WBSC Europe is to build more fields across Europe and involve as many children as possible in our sport,” he added-
Meanwhile a new WBSC Europe Executive Board was elected for the 2025-2028 term:

The WBSC Europe Congress closed by approving the hosts of its next two Congresses - in Athens, Greece on February 14, 2026 and in Malta in 2027.
