Japan dominate WBSC/KONAMI Women's Baseball World Ranking in 2024
Japan continue to dominate the WBSC/KONAMI Women's Baseball World Ranking with the seven-time World Champions finishing 2024 at No. 1 with 1,406 points. They gained 640 points in 2024 through their seventh consecutive World title.

World No. 2 USA has 918 points, 408 gained after finishing second in the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup 2023/2024, to move up two positions in 2024.
No. 3 Canada (755 points) gained four positions in the year thanks to a bronze medal in the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup, worth 327 points and is the top climber in 2024, moving up four positions from their 2023 end of year ranking.
In the top 10, No. 4 Venezuela (745 points), No. 5 Chinese Taipei (744), No. 6 Mexico (741) and No. 7 Puerto Rico (490) all lost positions since the 2023 end of year ranking.
The WBSC Women's Baseball World Rankings include 25 programmes. Only the six Women's Baseball World Cup Finals participants earned points in 2024.
The WBSC launched new World Rankings Methodology and Guidelines on December 19. The first 2025 update will follow the new methodology.
