- Then the Guardians traded Spencer Horwitz to the Pirates for Luis Ortiz, Josh Hartle and Michael Kennedy.
Inches from the World Series, the Guardians have slashed payroll again. - Max Fried signed with the Yankees.
- Nathan Eovaldi signed with the Rangers.
- the Rangers also got Jake Burger from Miami.
- Alex Cobb’s deal with Detroit was revealed to be for fifteen million dollars. How? I don’t know. I wouldn’t have been willing to guarantee more than 40% of that.
- The Nationals won the draft lottery.
