Fans Invited to Join Ticket Lottery List for 2025 Banana Ball World Tour

CHICAGO — The Chicago White Sox organization will welcome the Savannah Bananas, the exhibition barnstorming baseball team known for its unique, playful and fan-first “Banana Ball” format, for games at Guaranteed Rate Field on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 15-16, 2025.

Offering Chicago a taste of its signature blend of baseball, entertainment and choreographed dances for the first time in the Bananas’ nearly decade-long existence, Banana Ball World Tour tickets will be sold exclusively by the Savannah Bananas. Tickets are lottery-based, and fans interested in purchase opportunities are invited to join the official ticket lottery list before it closes on Friday, Nov. 1, 2024. Lottery-based tickets are scheduled to go on sale in June 2025.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Banana Ball for the first time to Chicago,” explains Bananas team owner Jesse Cole. “Since starting our first tour in 2021, we’ve heard from thousands of fans hoping we’d bring the game to the city.”

Standard bowl tickets to see the Savannah Bananas at Guaranteed Rate Field — from the ballpark’s 100, 300 and 500 levels — start at just $35, with VIB/VIP Meet and Greet tickets starting at $125. The Savannah Bananas only will sell standard bowl tickets through their official lottery on FansFirstTickets.com.

White Sox season ticket holders have exclusive access to early pre-sale events, and information will be shared in the coming months. A limited amount of premium seating, including suites, Wintrust Scout Seats and Guaranteed Rate Club, will be available for purchase at a later date. Fans can complete the form at whitesox.com/bananas to receive the latest information, as well as details surrounding parking and gameday ballpark entry.

The Savannah Bananas have captured the hearts of fans around the globe with their innovative and captivating approach to America’s favorite pastime. Known for their entertaining on-field antics and infectious energy, all team rosters will be filled with some of the most entertaining and talented players in the world, including former Major League Baseball stars and celebrity guests. The Bananas headlining tour is scheduled to include 18 MLB ballparks in 2025.

About the Savannah Bananas

The Savannah Bananas are a baseball team based in Savannah, Ga. and play their home games at Historic Grayson Stadium, but they take the show on the road on their Banana Ball World Tour where they play their rivals the Party Animals and other professional teams in the Challenger Series. The team has been featured on ESPN, Wall Street Journal, CNN, and Sports Illustrated and are made popular by its in-game entertainment and social media presence. The Bananas play their own version of baseball called Banana Ball, a fast-paced, action-packed style of baseball with rules that include no bunting, a two-hour time limit, fans catching foul balls for outs, batters stealing first base, and a one-on-one tiebreaker showdown at the end of the game if tied.

Yes, you read that right: The Bananas are so popular, tickets are sold by lottery to fairly meet demand.

Also, the home club is out of town, playing in Kansas City, while Banana Ball is playing in Chicago, so there is no danger of a challenge game popping up that ends in a White Sox loss.
