Sorry to keep piling on to Andrew Vaughn, but MLB.com today named him the most desirable first baseman trade candidate. I don’t for minute have to tell you how bad the first base market is that Andrew Vaughn is the most attractive trade candidate there.

Anyhow! Brooks Baldwin gets his fourth straight start at second base. He singled in his first MLB at-bat and has zeroed out since. Funny though, he’s gotten a longer leash than other middle infielders called up in the past. I wonder why ...

No matter, anyone called up deserves to get some scratch until proving clearly he can’t yet hack. Here’s hoping he gets back on track tonight.
