The final day of the draft is here
The 2024 MLB Draft concludes today with rounds 11 through 20. The Guardians will start with overall pick No. 325 in round 11, then finish the day with pick No. 595 in round 20.
Day 2 started with a talented prep southpaw Joey Oakie out of Ankeny Centennial High School, and concluded with another elite high school hurler Chase Mobley out of Durant High School. Cleveland went pitcher heavy on day two, selecting eight pitchers with all eight selections. The Guardians have selected four top prep arms already in this draft.
