Morning Briefing: Brett Baty Hits Another Homer In Syracuse

0 15

Good morning, Mets fans!

The Mets had an off day before heading to Chicago, but their Triple-A affiliate in Syracuse played the Rochester Red Wings, where they donned sleeveless uniforms in the midst of the heat wave on the East Coast.

During that game, Brett Baty hit a two-run home run to dead center field in the bottom of the seventh inning home run to give the Syracuse Mets a 7-6 lead. He hit it 414 feet. Both of Baty’s hits so far this week are home runs that traveled well more than 400 feet.

Now onto the morning briefing!
